FAQs
⚡ Charging & Compatibility
How do I know which power bank is suitable for my smartphone?
Most of our power banks are universal. However, for optimal charging, check the capacity (expressed in mAh). For example, a 10,000 mAh power bank can fully charge a modern smartphone about 2 times. If you have an iPhone, look for models with MagSafe technology or MFi certification for maximum speed.
Do your chargers support fast charging?
Absolutely. Many of our devices use Power Delivery (PD) and Quick Charge (QC) technologies. This means you can charge your phone up to 50% in just 30 minutes, provided your cable and smartphone also support these technologies.
Can I charge my MacBook or laptop with your power banks?
Yes, but only with high-power models (usually 65W and above) equipped with a USB-C PD port. Check your laptop's specifications to ensure the power bank's wattage is sufficient to provide power during use.
✈️ Safety & Travel
Can I take a power bank on a plane?
Yes, but with an important rule: power banks must be placed in carry-on baggage and not in checked luggage. Most airlines allow batteries up to 100Wh (approximately 27,000 mAh). Most of our standard models comply with these safety regulations, but please check the product page anyway!
Are your devices safe against overheating?
Absolutely. Every NeoPower product is equipped with intelligent chips for protection against short circuits, overvoltage, and overheating. The system automatically stops power delivery once the device is 100% charged.
🔋 Maintenance & Lifespan
How long does the power bank itself take to recharge?
It depends on its capacity and the wall charger you use. If you use a fast USB-C charger, even a high-capacity model can recharge in a few hours. If you use an old 5W charger, it might take much longer (even overnight).
Does the power bank's battery lose efficiency over time?
Like all lithium batteries, after about 300-500 full charge cycles, the capacity may slightly decrease. To make it last longer, avoid leaving it completely discharged for long periods and do not expose it to extreme temperatures.
📘 What's the difference between mAh and Watts?
This is one of the most common questions! To better understand, imagine a water bottle:
-
mAh (milliampere-hours) indicate capacity: they are like the size of the bottle. The higher the value, the more "energy" it can hold, and the more times it can charge your phone.
-
Watts (W) indicate power: they are like the width of the spout. The higher the wattage, the faster energy flows into your device, reducing waiting times.
📱 Are your products compatible with new iPhones and USB-C devices?
Absolutely. All our latest generation chargers and power banks are updated to the most recent European standards. We use universal USB-C ports, perfectly compatible with iPhone 15 and later, Android smartphones, tablets, and even wireless headphones. If you have an older generation iPhone (with a Lightning input), you just need to use your original cable connected to the USB port of our power bank.
📦 Orders & Warranty
What's in the box?
Usually, each power bank includes a charging cable (often USB-C) and a user manual. Always check the individual product description to see if a wall adapter or any other adapters are included.
What happens if the product doesn't work or isn't compatible?
We offer a full warranty on manufacturing defects. If the device does not meet your expectations or is not compatible with your model, you have 30 days to make a simple and fast return.
